Copper futures trade higher on Monday

11 Nov 2024 Evaluate

Copper futures were trading higher on Monday, on account of investors enlarged their positions even after disappointment over world’s top metal consumer China’s fiscal support as well as concerns about tariffs under a Trump presidency, which could hurt metals demand. Meanwhile, dip in inventories in warehouses supported red metal prices.

Copper futures for December delivery rose by $0.0015 or 0.03% at $ 4.3075 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange.
