Pay Rs 5 to attend Narendra Modi’s Hyderabad Rally

First time, the BJP party’s Andhra state unit is collecting a registration fee of Rs 5 per person to attend a public meeting to be addressed by its election campaign committee on August 11.  The money raised will be donated to help in the relief and rehabilitation efforts for Uttarakhand, which was mangled by torrential rains and landslides last month. The party has booked the Lal Bahadur Stadium in Hyderabad for August 11.  Nav Bharat Youth Conclave' was originally scheduled for July 27 but was postponed to August 11 in view of the Gram Panchayat elections.

The online registration for the public meeting is already on via the party's official website, Face book and Twitter; ticket sale counters are to be opened up on July 20 to facilitate the sale of tickets. About 40,000 people have already registered and the party hopes that it will go up to at least 70,000 The Hyderabad rally has assumed political significance as it would be Modi's first public meeting in the south after becoming the BJP's chairman of the campaign committee.
