Gold futures finished near one month low on Monday, saddled by the firmness in dollar and rise in US Treasury bond yield notes. Moreover, increased risk appetite as markets evaluate the broader implications of Trump’s election victory on fiscal strategies and monetary policy also dulled yellow metal investments.
Gold futures for December delivery down by $77.10 or 2.94% to settle at $2,617.70 per ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold slipped by $1.84 or 0.07% to $ 2,616.98 an ounce.
