Avenue Supermarts has opened a new store at Nangli, Amritsar, Punjab on November 14, 2024. The total number of stores as on date stands at 382. Earlier, the company had completed the acquisition of 26% shareholding of FP Ampere Energy (FPAEPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fourth Partner Energy for a total consideration of around Rs 2 crore.
Avenue Supermarts is a Mumbai-based company, which owns and operates D-Mart stores. D-Mart is an emerging national supermarket chain that offers customers a range of home and personal products under one roof.
