Havells India has informed that the Company was exploring the possibility to set-up a new facility to manufacture Refrigerators in Ghiloth in the State of Rajasthan. The Company has now decided to set-up the facility for manufacturing Refrigerators in Ghiloth, Rajasthan and the requisite details in terms of Regulation 30 and Part B of Part A of Schedule III of the SEBI LODR read with the SEBI Circular no. SEBI/HO/CFD/CFD-PoD-1/P/CIR/2023/123 dated July 13, 2023 are furnished as hereunder, Existing Capacity -New manufacturing; Existing capacity utilization -NA; Proposed capacity addition -14,00,000 Units; Period within which the proposed capacity is to be added -By Q2FY27; Investment required - Approx INR 480 Cr; Mode of financing -Internal Accruals; Rationale - To reap the benefits of backward integration and economies of scale.
