Wipro, BEML and Hyundai Motor India to see some action today

Wipro and Lineaje have collaborated to help enterprises secure the open-source components within their software applications. Recently, Wipro’s corporate investment arm - Wipro Ventures - invested in Lineaje, a US based software supply chain security company. Wipro will leverage Lineaje's Open-Source Manager and SBOM360 Hub to empower enterprises with a comprehensive service to continuously identify and neutralize critical open-source vulnerabilities within software they source, build, and use. This offering is built upon Lineaje's advanced capabilities to meticulously analyze software components, expose each component's known and hidden dependencies, and assess the vulnerabilities and risks within each component. 

BEML has secured a substantial order worth Rs 246.78 crore from Central Coalfields (CCL). The order entails the supply of 48 state-of-the-art BH60M Rear Dump Trucks, along with spares and consumables for 1+4 years and comprehensive after-sales service support. 

Hyundai Motor India has signed a Share Subscription and Shareholders’ Agreement (SSSHA) with Fourth Partner Energy and FPEL TN Wind Farm on November 20, 2024. To enhance company’s source of Renewable Power Energy, FPEL TN Wind Farm to establish Solar Power Plant with a 75 MW capacity & Wind power of 42.9 MW capacity in Tamil Nadu having capacity of 118 MW under Group Captive Model for supply of Renewable Energy to the Company.

Tata Technologies has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Tripura, Secretariat, Agartala, for ITI Upgrade project for upgrading 19 ITI across Tripura. Broad consideration or size of the contract is Rs 95.65 crore for the overall upgrade, training, maintenance and associated services.

Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals (GNFC) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with INEOS Acetyls International, United Kingdom (INEOS) on November 20, 2024 for incorporation of a Joint Venture Company (JVC) in India, by way of subscription to the Share Capital of the JVC, wherein GNFC will be holding 50% of the Share Capital of the JVC and the balance 50% will be held by INEOS.

Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) has signed a contract with the Transport Department, Government of West Bengal, for the delivery of 13 hybrid ferries on November 19, 2024. The ferries will be operated on the River Hooghly by the West Bengal Transport Infrastructure Development Corporation (WBTIDCL). These vessels will have catamaran hull design and be built with aluminum and Fiber Reinforced Polymer or FRP. The hybrid electric propulsion systems will be powered by batteries as well as diesel generators. The hybrid system will offer greater flexibility to the operator to switch from one mode to the other as per requirement, allowing for greater safety. The use of batteries will reduce pollution substantially.

Alkosign has received order from Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) for supply of Baggit Model Luggage bags for aggregate consideration of around Rs 99.07 lakh including GST.
