BPCL, Muthoot Capital Services and Indoco Remedies to see some action today

Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL), a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India and Coal India (CIL), a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Coal, Government of India, have executed a Non-Binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore setting up of Coal to Synthetic Natural Gas Project at Western Coalfields (WCL) through Surface Coal Gasification.

Muthoot Capital Services has raised Rs 110 crore through the allotment of 11,000 Rated, Listed, Unsubordinated, Secured, Transferable, Redeemable, Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) each having a face value of Rs 1,00,000 for a tenor of 24 months from the date of allotment, on private placement basis, in accordance with the terms and conditions as mentioned in the transaction documents executed in connection with the issuance. The NCDs have a coupon rate of 10.40. % p.a. payable monthly and are proposed to be listed on BSE. The Debenture Issue and Allotment Committee has on December 2, 2024, approved the allotment the same. 

Indoco Remedies has entered into strategic distribution partnership with Clarity Pharma, UK. This partnership marks a significant milestone in Indoco’s history, as the company will launch around 20 products over the next 18 months through Clarity Pharma, its distributor in the UK. The Company will continue to supply all the products under existing B2B partnership to its clients.

Advait Energy Transitions (Formerly known as Advait Infratech) has been declared as a qualified bidder by the Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam for 50 MW/500MW out of the project for setting up of 500 MW/1000 MWh Standalone Battery Energy Storage Systems in Gujarat under Tariff-Based Global Competitive Bidding (Phase-IV) with Viability Gap Funding Support.

Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals (CFCL) and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) have signed an Agreement for Research to establish the ‘CFCLTERI Centre of Excellence for Advanced and Sustainable Agriculture Solutions’. The joint initiative of CFCL and TERI aims to address the pressing challenges in the Indian agriculture sector, such as stagnating agricultural productivity, soil health degradation, poor nutrient use efficiency, reduced response (resistance) to chemicals and negative impact of excessive synthetic inputs on environment and human health, by developing innovative biogenic solutions, such as nano biotechnology based alternative fertilizers, bio-fertilizers, bio-stimulants, and biological control agents and biopesticides which would have no negative impact on environment and human health and provide improved benefit to cost ratio to farmers.

Godavari Biorefineries (GBL) has signed a strategic international license agreement with Catalyxx Inc. This partnership grants GBL exclusive rights to leverage Catalyxx’s cutting-edge technology for the conversion of ethanol to for up to 30,000 tons of biobutanol and other higher alcohols. Godavari will in the first phase, construct and operate a state-of-the-art facility designed to produce 15,000 metric tons of biobutanol and higher alcohols annually, marking a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to decarbonisation and sustainability.
