Mphasis reportedly may witness management buyout given that a Consortium is eyeing HP’s stake in Mphasis. The Consortium which may be led by senior management of Mphasis and PE players, are supposedly gearing up funds worth $1.4 billion for the buyout.
Further, PE players Carlyle, Blackstone and Bain may be part of this consortium, while Aberdeen may join consortium to hike stake in Mphasis. Aberdeen Global currently holds 14.96% stake in Mphasis.
