DCM Shriram, Metropolis Healthcare and Bharat Electronics to see some action today

DCM Shriram has entered into a Definitive Agreement with JSW Renew Energy Thirty Two for setting up a Wind Solar Hybrid renewable power project for replacing existing coal based 40 MW power with 68 MW RE Power. The total investment of Rs 57.12 crore will be made in tranches, with the project slated for completion by March 2026.  

Metropolis Healthcare has received approval for acquisition of the 100% stake in Core Diagnostics, India, from its existing shareholder, Core Diagnostics (Mauritius) for a total purchase consideration of Rs 246.83 crore to be discharged partly by cash and partly by way of preferential issue and allotment of equity shares of the Company (by way of share swap) subject to approval of the shareholders of the Company. Pursuant to the completion of acquisition, Core Diagnostics will become a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. The Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on December 09, 2024 has inter-alia, approved the same. 

Bharat Electronics (BEL) has secured additional orders worth Rs 634 crore for maintenance of Akash Missile System, telescopic sights for guns, communication equipment, jammers, electronic voting machines, test stations, spares, services etc. With these orders, BEL has now accumulated orders totaling Rs 8,828 crore in the current financial year.

Datamatics Global Services’ material wholly owned subsidiary -- Lumina Datamatics has planned to sign the Share Purchase Agreement, Shareholders Agreement and other agreements (Definitive Agreements) on December 09, 2024 to acquire 100% stake in TNQ Tech (TNQTech), a Chennai based digital publishing technology and services company renowned for quality, efficiency, and innovation through purchase of shares from its existing shareholders in one or more tranches in accordance with the terms of Definitive Agreements.

JSW Steel has reported consolidated crude steel production for the month of November 2024 at 23.23 lakh tonnes as compared to 22.04 lakh tonnes in November 2023, higher by 5% Year-on-Year (Y-o-Y). The company reported crude steel production of 22.53 lakh tonnes from Indian Operations in November 2024 over 21.14 lakh tonnes in November 2023, increased by 7%. JSW Steel USA - Ohio’s crude steel production stood at 0.70 lakh tonnes in November 2024.
