Hindustan Aeronautics signs contract worth Rs 13,500 crore with Ministry of Defence

Hindustan Aeronautics has signed contract with Ministry of Defence on December 12, 2024, at an around cost of Rs 13,500 crore inclusive of taxes and duties. The contract is for procurement of 12 Su-30 MKI aircraft along with associated equipment. 

These aircraft would be manufactured at Nasik division of the company. The supply of these aircraft would enhance operational capability of Indian Air Force and strengthen defence preparedness of the country.

Hindustan Aeronautics is Bengaluru based Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSU) Company engaged in the design, development, manufacture, repair, overhaul, upgrade and servicing of a wide range of products including, aircraft, helicopters, aero-engines, avionics, accessories and aerospace structures.
