Info Edge, EPL and Bharti Airtel to see some action today

Info Edge’s (India) wholly-owned subsidiary--Redstart Labs (India) has agreed to invest an amount of about Rs 3 crore in Sploot and consequently the company’s aggregate shareholding through Redstart would increase from 21.96% to 26.40% on a fully converted and diluted basis upon completion of the acquisition of shares.

EPL has received approval for incorporation of a subsidiary of the company in Thailand. The Subsidiary is proposed to be incorporated to act as a vehicle to pursue various growth opportunities in Thailand, in manufacturing and trading of laminated tubes. The Board of Directors of the Company has, at its meeting held on December 19, 2024, granted its approval for the same. 

Bharti Airtel has prepaid Rs 3,626 crore to the Department of Telecom (Government of India) clearing all its liabilities for spectrum it had acquired in 2016. With this, Airtel has now prepaid all its spectrum dues that had interest costs higher than 8.65%. Airtel has prepaid a total of Rs 28,320 crore of spectrum liabilities in this calendar year.

Advanced Enzyme Technologies has completed the further investment in Advanced Enzymes Europe B.V., (AEE) -- Wholly Owned Subsidiary of company through an acquisition of new issue of 3,623,163 Equity Shares of AEE, for a consideration of Rs 47.82 crore. AEE continues to be the wholly owned subsidiary of the Company and there is no change in the percentage shareholding (100%) of the Company in AEE pursuant to said further investment.

Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) will equip its domestic product line-up with AMARON’s Made-in-India AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) battery technology. It will be used as an SLI (Starting, Lighting and Ignition) battery and will be procured under HMIL’s existing procurement agreement with Amara Raja Energy & Mobility (ARE&M), a comprehensive solutions provider in the energy and mobility space. HMIL aims to equip its models with the indigenously manufactured AGM batteries in Q4 of FY 2024-2025, making it the first auto OEM in India to use localized AGM technology. The move is in-line with HMIL’s dedicated efforts towards localization and introducing locally sourced innovative technologies for Indian customers.
