Suzlon Group and Torrent Power have bagged 486 MW hybrid order with this they will be powering 1 GW of wind energy for India. This strategic collaboration is pivotal in supporting India’s ambitious target of achieving 50% of electricity from renewable sources and strengthening the Make in India initiative.
Under the agreement, the company will supply 162 state-of-the-art S144 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with Hybrid Lattice Towers (HLT), each rated 3 MW capacity in Bhogat Region Gujarat.
The decade long partnership has reached to a remarkable milestone of 1 GW cumulative orders across state of Gujarat and Karnataka signifying the shared trust, innovation and vision between both companies. The partnership has leveraged advanced technologies to deliver quality power to nearly one million households and remained committed to driving India’s energy transition and building a sustainable future.
