JK Cement rises despite reporting 33% fall in Q3 consolidated net profit

JK Cement is currently trading at Rs. 4800.00, up by 45.50 points or 0.96% from its previous closing of Rs. 4754.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 4704.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 4829.00 and Rs. 4676.45 respectively. So far 738 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4895.95 on 10-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3639.15 on 04-Jun-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 4833.95 and Rs. 4474.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 36737.19 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 45.68%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 40.59% and 13.73% respectively.

JK Cement has reported 29.25% decline in its net profit at Rs 204.81 crore for Q3FY25 as compared to Rs 289.47 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company declined by 2.14% at Rs 2,759.55 crore for Q3FY25 as compared to Rs 2,819.99 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.   

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 33.10% decline in its net profit at Rs 189.87 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024, as compared to Rs 283.81 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased marginally by 0.05% at Rs 2,974.83 crore for Q3FY25 as compared to Rs 2,973.29 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
