Asian markets traded higher in early deals on Wednesday, with lack of major directional cues and as most of the indices closed for Lunar New Year holidays. Market participants sidelined ahead of the US Fed's interest rate decision later in the day. Japan’s Nikkei soared with the bargain hunting in technical sector after Tuesday’s sell off. Participants also digested BoJ's minutes which pointed cautious approach on monetary policy depending on inflation trends, wage growth, and global economic risks.

Nikkei 225 up by 316.94 points 0.81% to 39,333.81.
