Shatrughan Sinha to be in trouble over Nitish Kumar remark

The BJP said on Wednesday that it will take action against one of its member and actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha for praising the Bihar Chief Minister saying that he is 'Prime Minister Material' implying that Nitish Kumar is a very suitable prime minister candidate. The controversy started as Mr. Sinha a BJP Lok Sabha member favoured Nitish Kumar saying that he wanted to build bridges between the former partners - BJP and the JD(U).

Party Vice-President C.P. Thakur said that BJP will take disciplinary action against Shatrughan Sinha for his statement favouring Nitish Kumar as it would be harmful for the party and that the party door is always open for Mr. Sinha to quit if decides so.

Actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha, who served as Union cabinet minister in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee-led NDA government, also said that he prefered L.K. Advani over Narendra Modi.
