Videocon Group’s telecom arm unveils Android based Smartphone ‘Videocon A24’: Report

Videocon Mobile Phones, part of the diversified US$5 billion Videocon Group, has reportedly unveiled the new ‘Videocon A24’ Android Smartphone for its customers in India. The new device is priced at Rs 4,699. Further, Videocon A24 runs on the latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor and has 256 MB RAM. Other specifications of the device include 3.2MP rear camera, VGA front camera and dual-SIM support with dual-standby.

Videocon Industries, established two decades ago, is a global conglomerate with market capitalization of $2.5 billion. Videocon’s businesses consist of manufacturing, marketing and distribution of consumer electronics products and oil & gas extraction.
