FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 1 data: SEBI

01 Aug 2013 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Thursday’s data were net buyers in equity segment while they were net sellers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 5000.70 crore against gross selling of Rs 4823.50 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 177.10 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 125.30 crore with gross sales of Rs 739.10 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 613.80 crore in debt.
