Physical rubber prices improve on Thursday

Physical rubber prices improved a bit on Thursday tracking moderate gains of futures on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety improved to Rs 194.50/kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 194/kg, while RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 190/kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 189/kg.

In the futures market, contract of August delivery improved to Rs 194.60 compared to its previous closing of Rs 192.09, while September delivery closed at Rs 183.85 compared to its previous closing of Rs 179.96 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
