Idea Cellular has reported results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2013.
The company has registered over 2 -fold jump in its net profit after tax of Rs 404.38 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 189.96 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income from operations of the company increased by 19.23% at Rs 6470.93 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 5427.44 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2012
On the consolidated basis, the Company has reported 97.62% rise in its net profit after tax of Rs 462.71 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 234.14 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income from operations of the company increased by 18.81% at Rs 6538.77 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 5503.69 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2012
