FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 5 data: SEBI

05 Aug 2013 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Monday’s data were net buyers in equity segment while they were net sellers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 3356.60 crore against gross selling of Rs 2916.30 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 440.30 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 269.00 crore with gross sales of Rs 753.20 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 484.20 crore in debt.
