Bharat Electronics (BEL) has signed a contract valued at Rs.610 crore for supply of Electro Optic Fire Control System (EOFCS) for Indian Navy. This fully indigenously developed system will be installed and integrated on board Indian Naval Platforms. The system is capable of panoramic/sector search, tracking all types of targets during day/night and engages the tracked targets with the medium range and short range gun mounts. Additionally, BEL has secured other orders valued at Rs 352 crore following the last disclosure on January 28, 2025 which comprises anti drone system, fuzes, integrated fire detection and suppression system, vessel communication system, spares, services etc. With these, BEL has now accumulated orders totalling Rs 11,855 crore in the current financial year.
Western Carriers (India) has received work order from Vedanta for Logistics Services - Railway Transportation, CHA and other services. Broad consideration or size of the order is approximately Rs 1089 crore. The said order is to be executed in 4 years.
Rail Vikas Nigam has emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L1) from South Eastern Railway for Design, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning for upgradation of Electric traction system from 1 x 25 KV to 2 x 25 KV traction system for Kharagpur (Excl.)- Tatanagar (Incl.) section of Kharagpur/Chakradharpur division of South Eastern Railway to meet 3000 MT loading target.
Quint Digital has received approval for making investment up to Rs 2.13 crore to acquire 77.5% stake in Shvaas Creations (Shvaas). Objects of acquisition is for expansion and furtherance of the strategic business objectives of the company by investing into Digital Media space. The said acquisition is expected to be completed on or before February 22, 2025. The Board of Directors of the Company in its meeting held on February 7, 2025 has approved the same.

Broad consideration or size of the order is approximately Rs 8000 crore excluding GST.
Waaree Energies has set up 1.40 GW solar cell manufacturing facility at its factory at Village: Degam, Taluka-Chikli, District Navsari Gujarat, India and has commenced operations at such facility with effect from February 07, 2025. The lines are capable to produce 448800 cells per day with maximum size of cell is 210 mm (length) X 210 mm (width). All above cell manufacturing line core equipment have useful life of 5 years.
Popular Vehicles & Services’ 100% step down subsidiary -- Kuttukaran Cars has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) for establishing a Ather Space 3.0 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. This facility will include an Experience Centre, Service Centre and Warehouse. It will have 1 bay for servicing around 90 vehicles per month. The company will begin its operation by April this year.
