A consortium of Hitachi Energy India and Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has received the Letter of Intent (LoI) dated February 08, 2025 from Rajasthan Part I Power Transmisison for establishment of High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) LCC terminal station of 6000 MW at Bhadla (Rajasthan) and Fatehpur (UP), + 800 kV HVDC LCC terminal station (4X1500 MW) from Bhadla III and Fatehpur along with associated AC substations. The said contract is expected to be executed over a period of multiple years.
