Dalmia Bharat has reported 6% growth in July despatches at 847 thousand tonnes as compared to 800 thousand tonnes in July 2012. The company’s July production too has increased by 1% to 822 thousand tonnes as against 815 thousand tonnes in July 2012.
Besides, the company had reported 6% growth in despatches to 3,282 thousand tonnes during April - July, 2013 period compared to 3,092 thousand tonnes reported during the same period of last year. The production stood at 3,230 thousand tonnes during April - July, 2013 period, a growth of 4% as compared to 3,106 thousand tonnes reported during the same period of last year.
Dalmia Bharat is a cement manufacturer with plants in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh with a capacity of nine million tonnes per annum. The company is engaged in the business of cement, thermal power & other businesses.
