Welspun Corp, Bharat Heavy Electricals and Remedium Lifecare to see some action today

Welspun Corp has received new orders in the USA including two large orders for HSAW Pipes and additional orders for HFIW Pipes, valued at around Rs 3,000 crore for supply of coated Pipes primarily for Natural Gas Pipeline Projects.

Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Singareni Collieries Company (SCCL) for EPC Pkg. of 1x800 MW Singareni Stage-II project. The order includes supply and erection, testing & commissioning works - Boiler, Turbine, Generator, FGD and associated auxiliaries along with electrical and C&I, Balance of Plant Packages; and Associated Civil Works. Broad consideration or size of the order is around Rs 6700 crore excl. taxes & duties.

Remedium Lifecare has received a multi-year supply contract from a pharmaceutical distribution company based in the United Kingdom. This contract includes the supply of a range of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), Intermediates, and Specialty Chemicals. The estimated value of the supplies scheduled from February 2025 to January 2026 alone is valued around Rs 182.70 crore. 

Reliance Industries has acquired 100% equity stake of Lakadia B Power Transmission (LPTL) for an aggregate consideration of Rs 6.73 crore. With this acquisition, LPTL has become a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.

EMS has received Letter of Award (LoA) from Jaypee Infratech for civil (Structure & Finishing) and MEP works for multi-storeyed group housing project, “ORCHARDS”, for towers OCA- 1 to 3 (2B+S+P/UG+33) and OCB- 1 to 5 (2B+S+P/UG+38) at Jaypee Wish Town, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. 

PCBL Chemical has signed a technology transfer agreement with Chinese company Ningxia Jinhua Chemical to produce Acetylene black in India. Acetylene black is a high-end conductive grade chemical with applications in high voltage power cables, Li Ion batteries, EV charging, Semiconductor packaging and conductive plastics, paints & coatings applications.

Zen Technologies has acquired Applied Research International (ARIPL) and ARI Labs (ALPL), acquiring 100% equity stake in both companies. The acquisition, valued at Rs 130.0 crore, strengthens Zen Technologies’ commitment to advancing simulation technologies for defense and security forces.
