Power Grid, RPP Infra Projects and Mahindra Lifespace Developers to see some action today

Power Grid Corporation of India, pursuant to its selection as the successful bidder under Tariff based competitive bidding, has acquired Khavda V-B1B2 Power Transmission, the Project SPV to establish Augmentation of transformation capacity at KPS1 (GIS) and KPS2 (GIS) (Phase-V Part B1 and Part B2 scheme), on build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) basis from the Bid Process Coordinator - REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL). The project comprises augmentation works at under-construction sub-stations in the State of Gujarat.

RPP Infra Projects has been received letter of acceptance for a new projects -- Widening from two lane to Four Lane of Avinashi- Mettupalayam Road (SH-80) including reconstruction of Box Culvert and construction of Drain and Retaining wall in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu for contract value of Rs 62.78 crore (including GST). 

Mahindra Lifespace Developers (MLDL) has partnered with Livingstone Infra (LS) for a cluster redevelopment project in Mahalaxmi, with a Gross Development Value (GDV) of Rs 1650 crore. Located in the upscale Mahalaxmi area, the project site enjoys a prime position in one of South Mumbai’s most sought-after neighborhoods.

Shashijit Infraprojects has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) for civil work from Silverbell Realty, valued at Rs 23.59 crore (exclusive of taxes) for their Vapi site.

Transformers & Rectifiers (India) has secured an order from Hyosung T&D India for manufacturing and supply of Single-Phase Coupling Transformers and Single phase for TBCB Projects. The total value of the order is Rs 166.45 crore and is to be executed by next financial year. 

Larsen & Toubro has acquired the balance 26% stake in L&T Special Steels and Heavy Forgings (LTSSHF) from Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL) and also executed the Joint Venture Termination Agreement with NPCIL. The company already holds 74% shareholding in LTSSHF and with this acquisition, it will become a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. Under company’s complete ownership, LTSSHF will be able to undertake incremental investments to increase the breadth of its offerings to address market segments beyond energy and to improve overall utilization.

Infosys has entered into strategic collaboration with Lufthansa Group (LHG), a global aviation group, and Lufthansa Systems GmbH (LSY), to accelerate digital transformation and drive innovation in the aviation industry. As part of the engagement, LSY and Infosys will establish a dedicated Global Capability Center (GCC) in Bengaluru, India. This GCC is aimed to enhance Lufthansa Group’s software and product development as well as increase support for LSY’s products for the external airline market customers.
