Zuari Agro Chemicals has resumed production of DAP/Complex Fertilizers plant located in Goa. Earlier as on May 23, 2013, the company had shut-down its plant for annual maintenance. Due to non-availability of water from the Goa Government the operations of the said plant could not be started though the turnaround work had been completed. The company has a facility at Goa, with four plants dedicated to manufacturing of urea, DAP and NPK based fertilizers.
Zuari's fertilizer plants have an annual installed capacity of 946,000 tonnes. Its ammonia plant has an installed capacity of 660 tonnes per day, while the urea plant is a single stream plant and has a capacity of 1,140 tonnes per day.
