Oil India and Assam Power Generation Corporation have formed joint venture (JV) Company in the name of ‘APGCL Oil Green Power’. The company has subscribed to 49% shareholding.

The objective of JV company is to plan, develop, construct, own and operate renewable/green energy projects including but not limited to solar small hydro, hydrogen based wind biomass or any other form kind or description Explore, research, develop and establish green hydrogen infrastructure, including production, storage, transportation and distribution facilities and to engage in research and development of green hydrogen technologies, including production through renewable energy sources, promoting the use of green hydrogen as an alternative energy source.
