Rail Vikas Nigam, Biocon and Bharat Electronics to see some action today

Rail Vikas Nigam has received Letter of Acceptance from South Western Railway for Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) for Design, Supply, Erection, Testing, Commissioning of 2X25 KV OHE & PSI system (TSSs & SPs & SSPs) including Electrical General Services, Engineering & Telecommunication works between Rayadurga (Excl.) (CH: 205/463) Topavagada (Incl.) (CH: 106/000) of TK-RDG section (99.463 RKM/114.145 TKM).

Biocon Biologics (BBL), a fully integrated global biosimilars company and subsidiary of Biocon and Civica, Inc. (Civica), a not-for-profit generic drug and pharmaceutical company founded in 2018 to address and resolve life-saving drug shortages and affordability, have entered into a strategic collaboration agreement to expand access and affordability of Insulin Aspart in the United States. Under the terms of the agreement, Biocon Biologics will supply Insulin Aspart drug substance to Civica, Inc., who will use the drug substance to produce Insulin Aspart drug product, a rapid-acting insulin analog, at its manufacturing facility in Petersburg, Virginia.

Bharat Electronics (BEL) has secured additional orders worth Rs 577 crore since the last disclosure on February 20, 2025. Major orders include airborne electronic warfare products, advanced composite communication system for submarine, doppler weather radar, train communication system, radar upgradation, spares, services etc. With these, the total accumulated orders received by BEL during the current financial year stand at Rs 13,724 crore.

Jay Bharat Maruti (JBML) has increased stake in JBM OGIHARA Die-Tech (P) (JODT) from 39% to 49% by way of acquisition of equity stake from its joint venture partner OGIHARA Thailand Co. (OTC). JODT is a joint venture of JBML, JBM Auto Ltd. (JBMA) and OTC and is in the business of manufacturing and selling press stamping dies, in particular high-tensile and critical BIW dies.
