JSW Energy, Zydus Lifesciences and Infosys to see some action today

JSW Energy’s wholly-owned subsidiary -- JSW Neo Energy (JSWNEL) has entered into a Share Purchase Agreement today and acquired 100% shares of Virya Infrapower (Target Company). Consequent to the above, Virya Infrapower has become a step-down subsidiary of the company. The acquisition provides opportunity to acquire a ready renewable power site with necessary infrastructure to achieve accelerated project development.

Zynext Ventures USA LLC (Zynext Ventures), the venture capital arm of Zydus Lifesciences (Zydus), has invested in Illexcor Therapeutics (Illexcor), a pioneering biopharmaceutical company developing next-generation oral therapies for sickle cell disease (SCD). This investment underscores Zynext Ventures' commitment to supporting disruptive healthcare innovations that address significant unmet medical needs. 

Infosys has expanded its long-standing strategic collaboration with Citizens, one of the oldest and largest financial institutions in the US. Citizens will leverage Infosys’ deep domain expertise in financial services and its innovative technologies, including AI, cloud, and automation to develop cloud native domain platforms and achieve data center exit. This AI-enabled transformation will also foster an ecosystem of valuable FinTech and hyperscaler collaborations, delivering hyper-personalized AI-powered customer experiences, and enhancing operational resilience and stability. 

Polycab India has executed an agreement with BSNL as the Project Implementation Agency (PIA) for Design, Supply, Construction, installation, upgradation, operation and maintenance of middle mile network of Bharat Net in the Bihar Telecom Circle against Package No. 7 amounting Rs 3002.99 crore (inclusive of GST) [Capex of Rs 1549.66 crore, Opex for newly constructed network of Rs 929.79 crore and Opex for Existing Network of Rs 523.53 crore]. 

Bharat Electronics (BEL) has signed a contract with Ministry of Defence valued at Rs 2,463 crore (excluding taxes) for supply and services of Ashwini Radars. These fully indigenous AESA radars developed jointly by DRDO and BEL have integrated IFF with electronic scanning in azimuth and elevation and are capable of 4D surveillance. These mobile radars with advanced ECCM features are deployable on all terrains and can automatically detect and track aerial targets ranging from fighter aircrafts to slow moving targets. With this, BEL has now accumulated orders totalling Rs 17,030 crore in the current financial year.

Atishay has bagged an additional significant work order by the State Health Assurance Society, Government of Odisha, Health & Family Welfare Department (Authority). This new work order involves the printing and delivery of PVC Ayushman/AB PMJAY-GJAY Co-branded Cards for 10 districts of Odisha. These cards will be delivered to designated Nodal Officers in accordance with the guidelines set by the National Health Authority (NHA), New Delhi. The total order value stands at Rs 98.09 Lakh (inclusive of GST), the order is to be executed within 180 days. 

InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo) has received approval from board of directors for investment of upto Rs 394 crore in one or more tranches, in the equity shares of InterGlobe Aviation Financial Services IFSC (IndiGo IFSC), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. This investment will be utilised by IndiGo IFSC towards financing of aviation assets, repayment of its outstanding loan and for other general corporate purposes. The said investment will be completed within 3 months from the date of approval by the Board of Directors.
