Essar Oil leads the gainer list of ‘S&P BSE 200’ space

Essar Oil is currently trading at Rs. 63.35, up by 3.00 points or 4.97% from its previous closing of Rs. 60.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 63.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 63.35 and Rs. 57.35 respectively. So far 20,26,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 96.15 on 04-Feb-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 46.00 on 31-Aug-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 60.35 and Rs. 51.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8,651.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 15.96% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.97% and 6.08% respectively.

On standalone basis, the company has reported a net loss of Rs 863 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013 against net loss of Rs  1518 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal. However, total income increased by 12.80% at Rs 22,692 crore during the quarter under review from Rs 20,117 crore in the year-ago period.
