Mahanagar Telephone Nigam has informed that MTNL has received Letter No NSE/LISTSOP/COMB/FINES/0307 dated 17.03.2025 from NSE and Email/Letter no. SOP-CReview/Dec 24-Q dated 17.03.2025 from BSE regarding Non-Compliance with the provisions of Regulation 17(1), 18(1), 19(1)/19(2), 20(2)/(2A) and 21(2) of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015 respectively, Noncompliance with the requirements pertaining to the Composition of the Board including failure to appoint woman director, Non-compliance with the Constitution of Audit Committee, Noncompliance with the Constitution of Nomination and Remuneration Committee, Non-compliance with the Constitution of Stakeholder Relationship Committee and Non-compliance with the Constitution of Risk Management Committee. In this regard both NSE and BSE has imposed fines on MTNL amounting to Rs. 6,93,840 (inclusive of Basic fine amounting to Rs. 5,88,000 and GST amounting to Rs. 1,05,840) respectively.
