According to the data released by the NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 575.48 crore in index futures and options segments as per Friday’s data, August 16, 2013.
FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 987.20 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 1562.68 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 744.82 crore, while they sold stock options worth Rs 25.32 crore.
