Lupin, BLS International Services and Kirloskar Oil Engines to see some action today

Lupin Healthcare (UK), the wholly owned subsidiary Lupin, has acquired Renascience Pharma (Renascience), a UK-based pharmaceutical company and sole supplier of 4 specialty products targeting unmet medical needs in the UK. With this acquisition, Lupin Healthcare (UK) gains full ownership of Renascience which, going forward, will trade as its subsidiary. The portfolio includes branded injectable cephalosporines for infectious diseases, a topical treatment for ear pain and a branded quinazoline-like diuretic for cardiovascular and renal indications. 

BLS International FZE, a subsidiary of BLS International Services, has completed the subscription of 99.99% of the share capital of BLS Worldwide Services Inc., a company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. As a result of this subscription, BLS Worldwide Services Inc. is now a Step-Down Subsidiary of the Company (SDS). 

Kirloskar Oil Engines has received a prestigious order from Ministry of Defence, Government of India, represented by the Indian Navy for the Design and Development of Medium Speed Marine Diesel Engine of 6MW Capacity under the Make-I scheme.

Popular Vehicles & Services has opened a state-of-the-art 3S facility (Showroom, Service, and Spare Parts) for Maruti Suzuki in Bangalore, Karnataka. This marks the company’s entry into the Karnataka market. Strategically located in Avalahalli, Bangalore, this integrated facility brings together a showroom, workshop, and pre-owned car business under one roof. Spanning 5,000 sq. ft. for the showroom area and 10,000 sq. ft. for the service area with 20 bays, the facility represents a total investment of approximately Rs 9 crore.

Piramal Pharma has commenced commercial production of Sevoflurane at the company’s facility located at Digwal, Telangana, India. This was achieved by creating capacity for Sevoflurane manufacture at the Digwal facility in addition to existing capabilities at the company’s facility at Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA. This would boost the company’s capability to also tap into inhalation anesthesia opportunities in the ROW markets in addition to the USA markets.

Avantel has secured purchase order worth of Rs 4.96 crore (Excl. Taxes) from Department of Atomic Energy. The said order is to be executed by May 02, 2026. Earlier, the company had received a purchase order worth of Rs 11.36 crore (Incl. Taxes) for supply of satcom systems from M/s Goa Shipyard.

Caplin Point Laboratories’ subsidiary -- Caplin Point Far East has acquired Neoethicals Chile SpA. The company’s subsidiary has acquired 3000 equity shares of Neoethicals Chile SpA at the face value of One Thousand Chilean Peso per share (equivalent to $3000).  Recently, the Caplin Point Far East’s board had approved the investment in Neoethicals Chile SpA through the purchase of all its shares.
