According to the data released by the NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 990.34 crore in index futures and options segments as per Tuesday’s data, August 20, 2013.
FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 159.43 crore and they sold index options worth Rs 830.91 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 557.81 crore, while they sold stock options worth Rs 17.69 crore.
