Bond yields traded higher on Friday as ICRA has stated that the US administration’s latest tariff measures will not have any material impact on India's passenger vehicle exports due to meagre volumes of such shipments.

In the global market, U.S. Treasury yields fell sharply on Thursday after President Donald Trump unveiled sweeping reciprocal tariffs, which raised concerns about the possibility of a global trade war and sparked a major flight to safety away from risk assets.

Back home, the yields on new 10 year Government Stock were trading 08 basis points higher at 6.57% from its previous close of 6.49% on Thursday.

The benchmark five-year interest rates were trading 05 basis points higher at 6.41% from its previous close of 6.36% on Thursday.
