FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per August 21 data: SEBI

The FIIs as per Wednesday’s data were net sellers in equity and debt segments both, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 3019.40 crore against gross selling of Rs 4384.30 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1364.80 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross buying was of Rs 84.90 crore against gross selling of Rs 570.70 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 485.80 crore in debt.
