RITES, TCS and Infosys to see some action today

RITES has entered into a transformative Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with DP World to explore potential opportunities for collaboration in the development of trade, logistics, and infrastructure projects. The MoU aims to foster mutual collaboration by exploring joint opportunities in infrastructure development, including ports, multimodal logistics parks, free trade zones, rail connectivity projects, and logistics infrastructure services.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has reported results for fourth quarter (Q4) ended March 31, 2025. The company has reported 1.67% fall in its consolidated net profit at Rs 12,293 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025 as compared to Rs 12,502 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 4.99% at Rs 65,507 crore for Q4FY25 as compared Rs 62,394 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. On standalone basis, the company has reported 2.43% fall in its net profit at Rs 11,116 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 11,393 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 5.19% at Rs 56,058 crore for Q4FY25 as compared Rs 53,294 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Infosys has extended strategic collaboration with AIB, a financial services group operating predominantly in the Republic of Ireland and the UK. Building further on its 10-year relationship, Infosys will take on a renewed and expanded role to support AIB as it further accelerates its transformation initiatives and delivers support and value to its customers and stakeholders. 

Olectra Greentech has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) for supply and maintenance of 297 Electric Buses. These Buses shall be delivered over a period of 11 months from the date of LOA.

Mphasis has secured a U.S. patent on ‘System and method for optimized processing of information on quantum systems’. The newly issued patent outlines a pipeline to improve the scalability and performance of quantum machine learning (QML) on near-term quantum computing systems including quantum simulators. This solution transforms high-dimensional classical input data into an enhanced feature space in quantum format.

Cyient DLM has expanded its strategic partnership with Deutsche Aircraft, a prominent German regional aircraft manufacturer. Through this collaboration, the company will undertake the design, development and manufacturing of the Cabin Management System (CMS) for the D328eco, a next-generation 40-seater regional turboprop. This collaboration marks a significant milestone, as it will be one of Deutsche Aircraft's first electronics programmes designed and manufactured entirely in India, in support of the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

Indian Oil Corporation (IndianOil) has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Odisha to set up a world-class Petrochemical Complex at Paradip. With an investment of Rs 61,077 crore, this marks IndianOil’s largest-ever investment at a single location and a transformative step in India's petrochemical and industrial growth. The upcoming complex will house a dual-feed cracker and associated downstream units for the production of wide range of petrochemicals including Phenol, Polypropylene (PP), Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA), High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Phenol, and Butadiene.
