Power & Instrumentation (Gujarat) (PIGL) has received a work order worth Rs 80.24 lakh from Godrej & Boyce Mfg Co. The order involves the erection of 350 MVA power transformers, oil filtration, pre-erection testing, and oil sample testing at the 400kV GIS PSS-2 GIPCL, Khavda Project. This project is a landmark for PIGL, as it marks the company’s entry into the Extra High Voltage (EHV) segment a strategic move that reflects its growing capabilities and ambition to play a larger role in India’s evolving power infrastructure landscape.

Oil India (OIL) has secured 9 blocks under OALP Round IX, adding over 51,000 Sq.km to its exploration portfolio--with 6 blocks as sole operator and 3 as consortium partner. This milestone propels OIL’s total exploration acreage from 60,000 Sq.km to 110,000 Sq.km, registering a remarkable 85% growth. Significantly, OIL had submitted bids for 9 blocks and won all 9, achieving a 100% strike rate, underscoring the company’s strategic focus, technical strength, and competitive edge. 

Bliss GVS Pharma’s marketing and distribution partner -- Rising Pharma Holdings, Inc. USA has received final approval from the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) for the Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) for the product ‘Mesalamine Suppositories 1000 mg’. The ANDA was submitted through the company’s partner in the USA. 

Lemon Tree Hotels has signed new property -- Lemon Tree Resort, Mori Bera, Rajasthan. The property shall be managed by Carnation Hotels, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels, and is expected to start operations in FY27. Lemon Tree Resort, Mori Bera, Rajasthan will feature 17 well-appointed rooms, a restaurant, a bar, a swimming pool, a spa, Jacuzzis and other public areas. The Udaipur Airport, the nearest airport, is around150 kms from the property.

Cairn Oil & Gas, part of Vedanta Group and India’s largest private oil and gas producer, has acquired 7 new blocks in the Open Acreage Licensing Policy (OALP) Round IX auction. The awarded new blocks comprise of 4 onshore and 3 shallow water blocks located in the hydrocarbon basins of Cambay, Saurashtra, and Mumbai. With these addition, Cairn’s portfolio now expands to 69 blocks covering over 73,000 sq.km. area across the country.
