FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per August 22 data: SEBI

The FIIs as per Thursday’s data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 3958.40 crore against gross selling of Rs 4707.00 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 748.70 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2781.20 crore against gross selling of Rs 1087.00 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1694.20 crore in debt.
