Coal India’s subsidiary -- South Eastern Coalfields (SECL) has entered into a Rs 7,040-crore pact with TMC Mineral Resources for undertaking large-scale coal production using paste filling technology. Under this agreement, large-scale coal production will be undertaken using paste filling technology in the Singhali underground coal mine located in SECL's Korba area. Over a period of 25 years, the project is expected to produce approximately 8.4 million tonnes of coal.

NIIT has acquired a 70% stake in iamneo, a leading provider of deep skilling technology training solutions through a scalable AI powered SaaS platform. The transaction was approved by NIIT’s Board of Directors at its meeting on April 17, 2025. Under the agreement, NIIT will acquire the remaining 30% shareholding in phases from iamneo’s promoters, subject to achievement of agreed financial milestones. Post-acquisition, iamneo will function as a subsidiary of NIIT, with iamneo’s founding leadership team continuing in their existing roles, ensuring seamless continuity of operations.

Infosys has reported results for fourth quarter (Q4) and year ended March 31, 2025. On consolidated basis, the company has reported 11.75% fall in its net profit at Rs 7,038 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025 as compared to Rs 7,975 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 3.60% at Rs 42,115 crore for Q4FY25 as compared Rs 40,652 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. On standalone basis, the company has reported 21.84% fall in its net profit at Rs 6,628 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 8,480 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 0.07% at Rs 35,459 crore for Q4FY25 as compared Rs 35,484 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
