National Fertilizers’ board in its meeting held on April 18, 2025 has approved the proposal to enter into a joint venture (JV) Agreement with other nominated companies to form a Joint Venture Company for setting up of a new Ammonia-Urea Complex Namrup-IV Fertilizer Plant at Namrup, Assam. The tentative overall time schedule for mechanical completion and commissioning of Namrup - IV Project is 48 months from zero date. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 572.45 crore. The company’s shareholding shall be 18% of Equity Shares in the Joint Venture to be incorporated.
National Fertilizers is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of Neem Coated Urea, four strains of Bio-Fertilizers (solid & liquid), Bentonite Sulphur and other allied Industrial products like Ammonia, Nitric Acid, Ammonium Nitrate, Sodium Nitrite and Sodium Nitrate.
