Physical Rubber prices witnessed gains on Monday due to firm demand with hopes of de-escalation in trade tensions between the US and China, but expectations of increased supply capped the rise.
Spot prices for the RSS-4 variety gained at Rs 199/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 198.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety rose at Rs 196/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 195.50/ kg.
