FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per August 27 data: SEBI

The FIIs as per Tuesday’s data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2259.60 crore against gross selling of Rs 2812.70 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 553.10 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2213.50 crore against gross selling of Rs 1370.70 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 842.80 crore in debt.
