Aurobindo Pharma, Sterling Tools and ITD Cementation to see some action today

CuraTeQ Biologics s.r.o., a wholly owned step-down subsidiary of Aurobindo Pharma, has obtained marketing authorisation from UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) for Zefylti, its filgrastim biosimilar version. Earlier in February 2025, Zefylti has received the marketing authorisation in the European Union from the European Commission (EC). This is CuraTeQ’s second biosimilar to be approved by MHRA after the approval of Bevqolva in December 2024.

Sterling Tools through its Sterling Gtake (SGEM) subsidiary has forayed into the development, manufacturing and marketing of Rare Earth Magnet-Free traction motors for electric vehicles. The company has signed a Technology Licensing Agreement with Advanced Electric Machines (AEM) Ltd, UK to manufacture these motors at its plant in Faridabad. The patented AEM technology will enable SGEM to offer customers Magnet-Free motors that offer market-leading performance without any weight or size penalty.

ITD Cementation India has secured contract worth Rs 593 crore including all taxes and duties but excluding GST for construction of various infrastructure works at Jaipur International Airport in Rajasthan.

InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo) has introduced new direct flights connecting Abu Dhabi to India’s culturally rich cities- Visakhapatnam and Bhubaneswar.
