Shipping Corporation Of India reports 40% fall in Q4 consolidated net profit

Shipping Corporation Of India has reported results for fourth quarter (Q4) and year ended March 31, 2025.

The company has reported 41.04% decline in its net profit at Rs 172.17 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 291.99 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company decreased by 7.31% at Rs 1,399.48 crore for Q4FY25 as compared to Rs 1,509.87 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 39.75% decline in its net profit at Rs 185.14 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025 as compared to Rs 307.28 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company decreased by 7.25% at Rs 1,400.55 crore for Q4FY25 as compared to Rs 1,510.08 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2025, the company has reported 32.99% rise in its net profit at Rs 814.10 crore as compared to Rs 612.15 crore for the previous year. The total income of the company increased by 9.96% at Rs 5,785.37 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 5,261.56 crore for year ended March 31, 2024.

For the year ended March 31, 2025, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 24.24% rise in its net profit at Rs 843.58 crore as compared to Rs 678.97 crore for the previous year. The total income of the company increased by 10.23% at Rs 5,800.36 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 5,262.06 crore for year ended March 31, 2024.
