Salzer Electronics has secured a work order from the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) for the implementation of an Energy Efficiency Project in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The project involves installation of a Centralized Control and Monitoring System (CCMS) for street lights, along with the replacement of existing conventional streetlights with energy efficient LED lamps, across the East Zone and part of the Bommanahalli Zone of BBMP. Valued at Rs 192 crore, the project will be executed in consortium with Schnell Energy Equipments and is scheduled for completion within eight months. The total contract value will be received over a period of 84 months, as per the agreed payment terms.
Salzer Electronics made its debut in the Electrical Industry with an aim to design, develop, manufacture and supply CAM operated rotary switches, selector switches, wiring ducts, voltmeter switches and allied products.
