Indus Towers, Lumax Auto Technologies and Seamec to see some action today

Indus Towers has entered into an agreement for acquisition of 26% of the equity share capital, on a fully diluted basis, in JSW Green Energy Eight, a special purpose vehicle (SPV), for the procurement of renewable energy from Solar PV plant, under Captive mode in accordance with the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003, the Indian Electricity Rules, 2005, Electricity (Promoting Renewable Energy Through Green Energy Open Access) Rules, 2022 and amendments thereof. 

Lumax Auto Technologies has completed the acquisition of the remaining 25% shareholding in IAC International Automotive India (IAC India). Accordingly, IAC India has become a Wholly Owned Material subsidiary of the Company.

Seamec Internatonal FZE (SIFZE), a wholly owned subsidiary (WOS) of Seamec has incorporated a Joint Venture Company (JV) in the name of ‘Searete India IFSC (SEARETE), with Arete Shipping DMCC, UAE, in GIFT City, India primarily with the objective of Buying, Leasing and Sale of the Vessel(s). The provisional letter of registration from the International Financial Service Centre Authority (IFSCA)/ Unit Approval Committee has been received on May 22, 2025.

Oriental Trimex has been granted a Mining Lease for extracting Decorative Stone by Government of Odisha, Steel & Mines Department. The Mining Lease is for black granite over an area of 4.961 hectares (around 12.260 acres).  This area is located at village Potteru under Motu Tahasil of Malkangiri District, Odisha, and the lease is granted for 30 years. 

InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo) has unveiled new direct flights connecting the culturally vibrant city of Madurai in Tamil Nadu to Abu Dhabi, from June 13, 2025. Madurai will be the 16th Indian city with direct connectivity to Abu Dhabi and comes days after the airline announced direct flights from Bhubaneswar and Visakhapatnam to the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The tri-weekly flights between Madurai and Abu Dhabi further strengthens IndiGo’s international connectivity and making global travel more seamless and affordable for Indian travellers.
