NHPC, Magnum Ventures and Indian Hotels Company to see some action today

NHPC is looking to start the process of commissioning 3 units (250 MW each) of the Subansiri Lower HE Project in June. The company is waiting for approval from the National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA). The remaining 5 units of 250 MW each are expected to be completed by May 2026 in a phased manner. The company is in the process of constructing the 2,000 Mega Watt (MW) Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project.

Magnum Ventures has received approval from Board of Directors for raising of funds by way of issuance of Listed Rated Secured Redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) on private placement basis, in one or more tranches, for an amount aggregating upto Rs 400 crore, during the period of one year from the date of approval by the Shareholders. The Board of Directors at its meeting held on May 26, 2025 have approved the same.

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) and Agoda have entered into strategic partnership. This collaboration expands Agoda's premium offerings across the globe enabling travelers internationally to access IHCL's world-class portfolio of properties through Agoda's platform. The partnership brings 250 of IHCL's operating properties - including iconic brands such as Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta, Ginger, and the newly launched Claridges Collection - to Agoda's global customer base.

Hubtown has received the Occupation Certificate (OC) for the project ‘Hubtown Seasons - Czarnowo’ located at Chembur (E), Mumbai. The project consists of 54,000 square feet of total carpet area (more than 97% sold) and is part of the larger project ‘Hubtown Seasons’. The project was delivered before the committed possession date. 

Dharmaj Crop Guard has executed an agreement for the purchase of land, and the registration procedure was completed on May 26, 2025. Size of agreement is Rs 2.50 crore (Exclusive of Stamp duty and registration fees and other related expenses). 

BMW Industries has inaugurated two new tube mills and a 1.28 MW rooftop solar power plant at its Jamshedpur facility. The company has invested Rs 50 crore in this project to increase production capacity and meet rising market demand. The rooftop solar system has been installed to partially meet the facility's internal energy needs, helping reduce reliance on conventional power and advancing the company's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals. This shift toward cleaner energy sources underscores company’s commitment to operating in a more sustainable and environmentally responsible manner.  

DhanSafal Finserve has entered into a Co-lending arrangement for Rs 75 crore with Vastu Finserve India, under which Mitcon Credentia Trusteeship Services will serve as the Security Trustee. Through this partnership, the company seeks to broaden its presence in the retail lending sector and extend financial services to a larger segment of underserved and smaller clients. This collaboration is anticipated to strengthen the company’s capacity to effectively serve a diverse customer base, with a particular focus on consumer durable loans.
