Bharti Airtel, country's largest telecom operator, has revised call rates for postpaid users, which will be effective from September 8, 2013. While, the company has upped local and STD rates to Airtel Mobiles to 60 paise from 50 paise earlier, calls to landlines have been revised to 90 paise from 60 paise earlier. However, there have been no changes in headline tariffs. Basic call rates, or headline tariffs, at present range between 90 paise and Rs 1.20 per minute.
Bharti Airtel, in July, 2013 added 4.76 lakh users. Following this, the company’s total customer base has increased to 19.13 crore with a market share of 28.45%.
