Millennium Beer Industries has received an approval from Board for Industrial & Financial Reconstruction for the modified rehabilitation scheme containing amalgamation of the company into United Breweries. The scheme shall become effective upon filling of the order with the registrar of companies.
Millennium Beer Industries (MBIL), formerly known as Inertia Industries was granted the brewing license by the government in the year 1992. Within a span of three years the company became a premium beer manufacturer and captured a substantial share in the Indian beer market. The company sells its products under two brands - Sand Piper and Zingaro.
